Susan guessed that there was some sort of friendship like that. As much as she could forget, Cass was a Slytherin, and like her own friends, the closest friendships were with those from the same house. Add Quidditch into the equation, and it made sense.
She raised an interested eyebrow at the fact they'd lost touch when he'd started Auror training. Cass was a social creature - she'd worked out that much - and guessed it would have been a bit of a blow to him. But was it enough to prove Bletchley was crooked?
"Is he as stupid as he makes out? Is it possible the women and the brooms are just a front? Or is he really a few galleons short when it comes to brains?"
Her smile was genuine. "Yes, just like normal. You're looking tired," she added, voicing her concern as she watched him drink. She really should not be talking about work, nd felt just a little guilty. "We should stop talking about work and relax and unwind." Her smile became just a little more cheeky.
