Cass smirked, shrugging. 'His best friend is my cousin,' he said, knowing she'd understand what he was implying. Or hoping so at least. 'Besides, we were on the Slytherin Quidditch team together, and I used to hang around a fair bit when they were playing professionally. Well until I was an Auror, they accidentally all fell out of touch around that time, one way or another.'
He wasn't bitter, it wasn't in him, but he had been quite disappointed at the time. Now he'd long since stopped caring, and he got on well enough with them now when they were all gathered in Hogsmeade again.
'It is very circumstantial,' he agreed, even though he was convinced it was true. As was Percy, and he doubted he would be unless he had a reason to. 'And that is one I don't know the answer to. He's from an important enough family, but he's also mostly interested in women and brooms.'
He did laugh at her suggestion, putting down the drink he'd just been on the way to drink from. 'Like normal, you mean?' he asked with a wink. 'After all, it's not like most Aurors go to either the Hogs head or Escapism - well when we aren't working in the latter case.'
