'Didn't the will say he had to take care of the profit?' he asked, not sure about what it had said. It hadn't been relevant to the case, and so he'd never really read it.
'I'm not sure, but they're not forced to work there. They can quit if they don't like the terms.' He shrugged. 'Basically just running it is illegal, but so is the black market and we don't shut that down either. Not when it will make more people upset than not. Besides, I'm fairly sure the girls are better of at the pub than on the streets.'
As they reached the pub he held open the door looking around, seeing the pictures. He smiled and nodded at Miles and Daphne, then led Susan over to one of the familiar boots in the corner. At least they hadn't changed.
