Daphne smirked at him, punching him lightly in the shoulders. "All I have to go on is women's intuitions. It's not an exact science," she said, giggling.
She raised a brow back at him, impressed that he'd caught her. She clearly hadn't been thinking, but catching her outright wasn't that easy. "Well, yes, but who would EVER have that horrible man's children on purpose?" she retorted, looking rather smug. The only person she'd really needed to fool was the old man, and she knew that most everyone else was far better at math than that dead bastard.
Daphne slid into his arms as he pulled her in, leaning her head against his chest. "Very true. We don't need more ghosts around here," she said, smiling.
"You're welcome," she replied, grinning as he pressed his lips to her forehead. When he pulled away, she turned her head, an arm wrapping around his neck as she pulled him back down to kiss him full on the lips, her eyes closing softly.
