"Ron keeps his own schedule," Antonin nodded, "but he is progressing nicely."
"That will work out. In the mean time, let me get you something you can practice on at home." He spoke to the empty air, "Nikita, get me one of the spare hotfoot rugs from storage, please."
In almost no time, Nikita apparated into the room with a rolle"-up rug, which the house elf unrolled on the library floor. It was about 3 meters square. "Thank you Nikita," Antonin told the elf.
"This rug will respond to the commands 'begin', and 'end', triggered with your wand. You can also set the practice level." He popped a wand out of his right sleeve, and demonstrated, "Hotfoot, Level One, Begin."
Different spots on the rug began to flash brighter, one after another. Some were close together, some across the rug.
"You do this barefoot," Antonin told Tonks. You step from bright spot to bright spot. Oh, and if you miss, you get a little shock in your foot. The speed, and the intensity of the shocks, goes up with each level setting."
"No doubt you'll want to try it out in private; I'll have Nikita deliver it to your house, or to Hogwarts, as you wish."
