Her boots suddenly felt tighter around her ankles and calves. A quick look down explained why. "Didn't have time to lace them going out..." she explained weakly, tugging on strands of long black hair. Perhaps that hadn't been the best of impressions to make.
It was a weird feeling, actually, to have her boots completely tied.
"It's not a parlour trick," she said, feeling the need to defend her talent. "It's quite rare, actually. I've never met another person who can do it without a glamour of some kind." She switched her face back to her own, but kept the black hair. It was best to have for nervous twirling and grabbing behaviours.
She tried to smile. "What? If I was your student I'd be learning illegal curses and the whatnot? Aye, I appreciate the thought, but trying to teach the tripping out of me? Mad-Eye couldn't even do it."
