Antonin took a deep breath, then let it out slowly when Dora dropped the curse. Dispelling the fireballs, he sat rather heavily in his chair again.
"You didn't really mean it," he said slowly. "The curse was nowhere near as strong as it could have been."
"That, and enough meditation and practice to make it true. Just like anything else, the more you practice, the better you get. Its a complaint I have with the Aurors; they don't practice spellwork enough to be be effective in a battle situation."
"But, you can see why I want to expose your mother to the technique, starting with a very light curse and working up as she becomes more adept at what she does."
