Thank you for the invitation. I've just finished grading a stack of papers, so I think I'll just take you up on that offer. You're right, all I would do is make mum nervous and we'd just argue over that later.
I'll try to be by within the next quarter of an hour.
Thank you, Dora Tonks
Dora waited about five minutes after sending the letter before going to the front hall closet and grabbing her coat, boots, and bag. She didn't bother lacing her boots all the way and quickly buttoned her jacket over her robes, making her look quite bulky around the midsection even after she made herself look a mite skinnier. She dug around in her bag for her wand before stepping out the front door. Her wand was used to lock the door behind her and she set off down the street.
She'd promised fifteen minutes and with a bit of stumbling and tripping down the road she was able to make it. Dora was brushing herself off when she started through the stone gate that lined Antonin Dolohov's house. It looked quite nice from the outside, Dora noted, and she could feel the thickness of the wards surrounding it. Likely would have blasted her to the other side of the road if she wasn't wanted.
Dora took another stumble over a crack in the path and cursed underneath her breath. Lacing her boots up all the likely would have been helpful, she realised as she brought her hand up to knock on the door.
