Emma though Seamus had a nice smile, the kind that invited conversation. It wasn't a big surprise to find out that he worked as a barman. He seemed like a person to whom it wouldn't be hard to talk.
'Oh, because the owner was killed,' she remembered. She'd heard about it while she was out looking for work. 'Do the Aurors know how it happened?' she asked. She'd listened to the speculation, the rumors ranging from the outlandish to the completely impossible.
'Me?' Emma sighed. 'I walk around town and listen to rejections a lot,' she told him. She shrugged. 'It's not a good time to be looking for a job,' she admitted. 'Too many people and too few jobs,' she sighed.
