She did not miss Severus's change of expression in her presence, but could not have cared less what he thought. His opinion of her was meaningless and likely wrong. Her eyebrows DID raise, though, as Faustus rushed over to his father. She was actually quite surprised, having never known Severus as a warm or loving creature. When father and son held each other, she had to turn her head downward toward Scorpius in her arms so that her own son would not see her widened eyes. This... was new. New and just a tad sickening. There did not need to be another generation of Snape's personality... or that hooked nose.
She quietly cleared her throat to shake off the oddity and looked back to Severus. His question caused her to force a small chuckle as she answered, "You could say such, I suppose. It agrees with me in that my precious Malfoy son now has one of his own, as... I see... you do." Faustus was smiling at everyone, including her. It was bizarre, as she imagined Severus would look quite similar if the man would let go of his fondness for the drab.
"As for being old enough to be a grandmother," she sighed, "let us not talk about it. Ever." She laughed, but she was entirely serious.
