Severus gave Draco an exasperated look but dropped the subject. Whatever it was that Draco saw in him was something he himself did not see. But given that it had drawn Draco to him, he was no longer willing to argue.
He snorted with amusement. "And I am sure Pucey could teach them the value of shopping as well because that is another thing I am unqualified to do." His lips twitched in amusement as he remembered his run-in with Pansy at the benefit. "Pansy is a touch frustrated," he said blandly. "You should advise her to moderate her drinking though. It seems she does not have a very high tolerance for alcohol."
He grimaced; he knew Draco was right but it was almost innate within him to hide and protect something as precious as his son. He waved a hand dismissively at the question about the Stirlings. "No, it's of no matter. I just simply dislike Rodolphus and Bellatrix knowing about Faustus or that we are more than just former teacher and former student." They were chinks in his armour that could be used against him and he knew neither Rodolphus nor Bellatrix would hesitate to do so if they were given the opportunity.
