As far as Stephen was concerned, there was only one negative factor in this: he had to move. His heart was still beating strong against his chest and he could barely breathe, but he moved nonetheless.
He kept one hand on Adrian's back as he knelt down and opened the cuffs around Adrian's ankles. When he stood up, he closed one arm around Adrian to support him while he opened the other two cuffs. Before Adrian could complain or bitch, Stephen picked him up and carried him to the couch. He sat down, holding Adrian on this lap, while unfolding the throw with one hand and wrapping it around Adrian. "Give yourself some time to adjust, baby. Body temperature will drop and with the heat in your back, you'll feel even colder." He smiled. "You know it's time to get off those bacon sandwiches, or I need to pump more iron, 'cause you're heavy," he teased.
