Daphne laughed. "Well, I left all the furniture," she said. "You know, like the tables and chairs. Your daddy had plenty of that stuff already. But I brought everything else." She ruffled his hair playfully. "And I couldn't possibly carry all that without magic."
"No, he's in his own room," she said, shaking her head. "He wakes up super early though, and I wouldn't want his crying to wake you up early." She thought for a moment. "Maybe tomorrow night we can try it, though?" If Liam didn't like being woken up, he'd figure it out fast enough.
Daphne brushed her hair back, showing her the earrings she was wearing. That would work as a present. "I got these," she said, smiling. "Aren't they pretty?"
