Neville beamed at Ginny when she said she loved the pearls. She thought that they wouldn't suit but, maybe she just wasn't used to them, and hadn't seen them on yet. So Neville nodded when she asked for him to put them on her.
Neville took the pearls from their box and fastened the necklace around Ginny's slender neck. She turned slowly and they fell perfectly, just below the hollow of her throat. Everything was perfect; she was happy, smiling - she liked the roses, the dress and the necklace. There was just one other small surprise for her.
With a light chuckle, watching Ginny touching at the pearls around her neck, he bit his lip and admired how gorgeous she was. "They look lovely Ginny... I'm so glad you love them." He sighed and smiled, pulling back slightly. "That's it for the big gifts, I just have something small for you too." Neville was smiling but Ginny had a slight anxious look on her face, so he gave her a window of opportunity. "But it's just something little so it can wait a few more minutes." He smiled kindly and nonchalantly, playing with a wayward lock of her hair that sat against her cheek lightly.
