Terry blushed, and nodded. "Well, I don't think the others were as...slow, as I was," Terry said. "I know Sophia and Stephen weren't." He bit his lip again, but smiled a little. "They used Obliviate, or some form of the spell. It...it didn't work right, I don't think, as I know there are memories I'm missing, I just can't find them, and I have no idea what happened in that time period." It still frightened him, when he thought about it.
His eyes widened when Ernie asked who it had been, and wondered what to tell him, when Ernie back-pedaled. "There hasn't been anyone important," he said instead of replying directly. "Until now." He glanced up and met Ernie's gaze, feeling very vulnerable. "I don't think I felt for them half of what I feel for you."
Terry glanced down again, reaching up to run an unsteady hand over his neck. "I...I don't really want tea," he whispered. "I just want you."
