Adrian swore when he got the message, working overtime so he'd get his weekend off. He sent a copy of the owl off to Stephen before replying to Malfoy, wondering if he should inform Percy of such things or not.
He decided not.
Rodolphus wouldn't give his enemies days and weeks to protect themselves against something unknown. If he said anything and Weasley actually listened, he'd likely be working extra and it would all be for nothing as he wouldn't find out anything more.
Malfoy,
We appreciate the head's up but unfortunately, we're not in a position to drop everything. Well, Stephen isn't. I'm already sure he'll be about as stubborn as your boy in this matter.
However, we are going away for the weekend so maybe we'll miss all the action and danger.
Give Tracey my best and tell her we'll both be round to see your new baby if he's born whilst we're away.
