"I flit around a great deal," Jack said with an engaging grin. "I'm a professional flit-about so you may not have heard of me." He cocked his head to one side. "And might I know your name, lovely lady?"
Severus had to suppress a snort at the way Pansy rambled on, especially when she spoke of what Draco had obviously told her. It did sound like the kind of advice Draco would give; it was just a wonder that Draco had never done that to him. Their relationship might have become more serious a lot sooner if he had; Severus was many things but he was not made of a marble and a naked Draco crawling into his bed might well have been more than he could resist.
"Oh, come now," Jack said. "You can't judge us all on the basis of what sounds like one oblivious man. I, for one, noticed immediately how lovely and beautiful you are. And that dress looks utterly divine on you, lovely lady."
He swallowed a laugh at Pansy's choice of name for a man he was coming to suspect was Harry. It would explain a few things he'd seen during their lessons and he had to agree that the boy was particulaly clueless.
"Goodness," he said blandly. "He sounds terrible. Are you sure you want him to notice you?"
