Daphne parted ways with Miles to do a quick makeup check. Even the best charms could smudge with time, and being in such a crowded room wasn't going to help. Afterwards, she decided she should probably just bite the bullet and go talk to Pansy. She knew her friend would be dying to talk to her about this, and she didn't want the poor girl to bust at the seams with curiosity.
She found the brunette quite easily. Her robes were one of the more extravagant, although Daphne had to admit that she had good taste.
"Pansy, darling!" she exclaimed as she walked over to greet her. "I haven't seen you in such a long time. You've done such a wonderful job with the benefit." She gave her a brilliant smile. "You seemed to have just disappeared lately, though. How have you been? How's Polly?"
