Percy sighed. "Cass, I actually enjoy being at work." It was better than going home alone. It probably was the reason he spent so much time in the office. Plato was a good dog, but it wasn't company. As much as Percy didn't like people, he liked having them in the background. It must be the result of living with so many people for so long. "I'll be much happier in the office and I can count the money there, with two accountants presents before everything gets locked up."
He froze when Cass touched him, and relaxed when he saw the reason for such touch. "Why are you trying to ruin my evening? Am I not being punished enough?" He snorted. "No, thank you, I'd rather not have to deal with women, especially these women. They either work for me or despise my family. It would also require me not to upset the latter or bark at the former. Either way, it's really not a pleasant way to spend the evening."
