"I may have to do the schmooze thing," she said, rolling her eyes. "Percy seems to think that people will open their pockets more widely if Aurors charm them into it." She snorted again. "Though I wonder if he was thinking clearly when he asked me to be here. I'm not exactly aces at charming strangers. I usually prefer to intimidate them into cooperating with me."
She leaned more against him and smiled as he outlined their evening. She was going to say something else when she saw Harry say something to McGongall and then take his leave, and thought he'd be the perfect person to talk to first. She pulled Neville along with her and they intercepted Harry at the champagne fountain. Neville said hello and turned to get them each a glass of champagne.
"You're wearing jeans under those robes, aren't you?" she asked, grinning slyly at Harry. "And have you made a donation yet? I'm supposed to 'charm' everyone into donating, but I find it easier to not go the subtle route and Neville and I are getting married." She finished in a rush, heart thumping at actually saying it out loud to other people.
