Daphne kept feeling the need to duck her head each time a cupid zoomed by, and it was getting to be quite the annoyance. Sure, kissing Miles wasn't something she was going to complain about, but being threatened with bows and arrows was a bit on the unnerving side.
Miles' glance shifted to the clock, and Daphne couldn't help but wonder what was so important about the time. Whatever orders he had gotten had him just a bit on edge, although he was hiding it well. Daphne was sure she wouldn't have noticed if she hadn't already been clued in.
Daphne looked over her shoulder at the mention of Pansy, and she turned back to smirk at him. "If Pansy knows, the whole world does," she said, chuckling. "No doubt she'll be rushing over at her first opportunity to interrogate me about it."
