Pansy didn't say anything for a moment. Finally, in a tiny and slightly tired voice, she said, 'It can't?' She blinked, feeling her eyes sting a little. Sourly, she added, 'He's kissed every beautiful person in here except you and me and Natalie, I think,' she told him. 'Including a complete stranger!' she added.
She didn't truly know what had been more upsetting, the stranger or the veela. At least the veela was married, though, and happily from what she'd heard.
'Thanks, hon,' she said. 'At least I have you and Natalie,' she said with a sigh.
