"Whiskey sounds good, actually. I'll have the same," she told the barkeep. She glanced back at Pansy, wondering for a moment just why she was drinking such a strong liquor. Pansy had said it was just stress from the event, but Natalie wasn't sure she bought that entirely.
Still, she wasn't going to pry. Pansy would say something eventually if she wanted to.
The barkeep handed them their drinks and Natalie held up her glass.
"To you, for planning all this," she said with a grin, clinking her glass against Pansy's.
Natalie took a sip, feeling the harsh burn of whiskey in her throat. She pulled a face and then turned back to Pansy, giving her a smile.
