Ron stood on the upper balcony dressed to impress. He watched around the club from his vantage point high above, doing last minute checks of everything until the party started.
He'd convinced Hilly that he needed to try every pastry for "poison content" and a heaping pile of them sat on his desk. He was happy that the little House Elf had gotten his joke and had made sure there were a few extras of her bakings in the sweets mountain.
He sighed and put on the tuxedo jacket, looking at himself in the mirror. One would almost say he looked like a handsome gentleman. His hair was even combed and a little red kerchief was folded into the front pocket. His shoes had been polished so that he could see his reflection, and he wore the whole ensemble proudly.
He chuckled to himself as he walked out of the secuirity office, walking like he was born in the suit. He'd definately have to thank Pansy and Draco for all the last minute training they had done for him. One would almost believe that Ronald Weasley had been doing this all his life.
He nodded to Pansy and made sure he secured a chance to dance with her later out of good will and stood around on the floor, being dazzled by all the wonderful decorations. He looked at the cupids, making sure to take mental note of where they were so he could dodge them if he needed to, and rechecked with his secuirity team once more before heading towards the doors.
It was his first night being in charge and he hoped it went well. He was going to do his best to impress everyone and show them all he was capable of doing this.
