Draco resisted the urge to tell his father that the only ones spoiling Violet would be he and Tracey, but instead kept his eyes on Violet. She threw a glance his way, and he nodded again, quite pleased with her caution. She'd get a lot more than chocolate for that.
When she was done, Draco turned to the house elf. "Make sure that she get pan au chocolate. Violet, love, go see your mother. You can eat in our room, and make sure she doesn't start rearranging the room. Again," he said winking at his step-daughter.
Violet giggled at that. "Okay. Goodbye, grandpa Lucius." She waved at him and scampered out of the room.
"Tracey is in a cleaning mood," Draco explained. "The Healer says that it's normal in the last few days of the pregnancy, some biological reaction from the pre-historical times. Whatever it is, it'll soon be over."
