She changed her features so often depending on her moods and the topics she was discussing that she'd stopped consciously noticing it. It was simply something she did and sometimes she did forget that others wouldn't necessarily realise there were people who could actually do that.
That had certainly been the case when she'd been a student at Hogwarts. If it hadn't been her name people were talking about, it had been something about her 'freakish' abilities. She'd come to terms with her abilities of course, if not her name, and she was a good deal more comfortable explaining them now.
"Sorry," she apologised as well, brushing her pink-to-brown-to-pink-again hair behind her ears. "I'm a metamorphmagi. I can change my body around to just about anything." And to prove her point she turned her nose into a pig's snout with a happy grin.
