"Nymphadora Tonks," she replied, thrusting her hand out eagerly after she switched the basket to her left. "But I'd prefer if you didn't say Nymphadora. Dora'll do." She liked her standard reply. It was concise and to the point and people very rarely called her by her full name afterwards. Unless, of course, they were her mother. But that was a whole other bag of worms entirely.
"Dora," she repeated again with a smile. "Or Tonks. Two choices, you know, if you're bad with names. Not saying you are, of course." Dora shook Natalie's hand happily.
"It's best I'm not in here everyday." And as if to prove the point she grabbed another handful of sweets from the shelves and dropped them into her basket. "I'm not sure my body would survive that."
