Daphne shrugged, having absolutely no idea. "Well, I think he's a nobleman too, so maybe that's why?" She didn't get herself involved in law and politics for the most part, so this was knowledge completely foreign to her. "We...might have to find a lawyer or something. Someone who knows more about this kind of thing."
She chuckled, although she was still having somewhat of a hard time finding this funny. She was sure it would be, though, after it was behind them. As long as he kept taking her out, that is.
"Firevodka is nothing but trouble," she said in agreement.
She groaned a bit in protest when he pulled away, licking her lips as if she could still taste his mouth there. His words registered as she regained her senses, and she nodded. "I was thinking about it while I was in the shower. Didn't you notice how the headaches weren't as bad when we were both in the same room? And how strange it feels when I..." she paused, running her fingertip along where she knew his new mark lay. "Besides, if they were just tattoos, you said they would still hurt, right?"
