Terry actually liked that about Percy, his morals, but then he and Adrian were far different in most respects. "Hopefully he'll feel you've paid your dues by now," he said. "Especially under the circumstances." He knew he had a tendency to see the best in people, but he hoped he was right.
Terry laughed at the by-play between them, amused at their playful banter about where they'd be spending the weekend. It made him want to go someplace sunny and warm, where clothes were minimum. Maybe after the benefit, and seeing how things went with Ernie at his estate, he'd suggest it. Just the two of them, on a warm beach with lots of sun lotion.
"I think I like just letting things play out on their own, without pressure from either side to see where things go," he said. "Oh, and before I forget, I haven't forgotten about the Fidelius work you were interested in." He looked at Stephen. "I think I've exhausted the previous research on the subject, and I have a few theories and ideas, but to see if any of them will work, I need a Fidelius to play with."
