Adrian was glad for the slight glamour charms that hid the dark circles under his eyes, having pulled them up as soon as he'd left the Auror HQ. Whilst normally he didn't mind Stephen seeing, he didn't want him worrying over nothing... After all, he didn't have to work for the rest of the weekend.
"Hey yourself," he said with a small smile, cupping Stephen's face when he kissed him before breaking away and lying down on the sofa, closing his eyes. "There should be but Weasley's a workaholic, a very short-staffed workaholic. I'm donating thousands at this bloody benefit just so I can work less."
He opened his eyes at Stephen's last words, not sure what to say. Suddenly the prospect of a child wasn't just some 'what if' and he looked over at his husband before looking back at Boot. "You're sure?"
