Cass ran a hand through his hair, raising an eyebrow. 'Thanks for the compliment,' he said with a laugh. 'And I'll be fine. Well once the Lestranges decide not to mess with my beauty sleep.' He couldn't help but to stifle a yawn at the mere thought of sleep.

He forced himself to focus, however, and nodded at her. 'Lettie wrote me,' he said not explaining things further. 'She's pissed off - which usually means trouble - and this time she's pissed off at you.'
'Seriously, you forgot to show her your id?' he asked shaking his head. 'I'd tried to calm her down in my reply but with her...she can be stubborn as a mule, and she did mention writing to Percy and complaining about you. Now he won't care about you not checking her memory loss, as we don't do that, but not showing your id...that he'll be furious about.'
He sighed. 'By the way, what is Miles doing here?' he asked. 'I heard he was kept here overnight? For what? Surely you don't think he's your man, do you?' he asked.
