Montague was nearly thrown when her voice reached that shrill bite, and he stepped back almost hurt for a moment. Or until he caught on to her words. "What?" He was rather confused, and getting a little frustrated. They had a larger over arching issue- and here she was nit-picking at some little miscommunication.
"What does your sudden daily decisions have to do with him?" Montague asked almost quietly, his jaw starting to clench a little in anger, responding as it always did to hers.
"I believe, at the moment, there is a bigger issue!" His eyes flashed, "as we both already know you knew."
