Cormac nodded. "Yeah, not much else we can do," he said at Adrian's questions. "What about a magical signature? Was there one left on the body?"
He started casting spells as he asked the questions, peeved that any magical signature that might have been left had already dissipated. "Dammit, no signature left in the air." He refrained from kicking the wall, but only just.
"Okay, let's clean up here and go to the next one." He had a feeling that the bodies were only going to get worse from here on out. Before they could move upstairs, two Aurors arrived and Cormac sent them to secure the bridge, but to leave the Muggle questioning for him, Adrian and Cass. He didn't trust the Foreign Aurors not to muck it up.
