Susan opened her mouth to repeat what she said about Madame Rosmerta. "As I have stated, you were given as an alibi for a suspect, and I just wanted to know if you were, or weren't with the person in question. That's all that matters to me."
"I'll make sure to note on my report that you..." are mentally incompetent. "have special circumstances." Susan didn't have time enough in her day to finish her reports, let alone do full character checks complete with psychological profiles before she went to interview people.
She did realise she hadn't shown her papers to Miss Capper, only to the elf. "It would seem that your elf is suffering from memory loss as well," she said as she showed her auror identification.
"It's likely you were with him? I'm sorry, I would hope it could have been a more firm answer." Susan sighed in frustration. If this alibi couldn't remember, then she was going to have to question Bletchley further, and Percy wasn't going to like that. Perhaps he should come and talk to this woman. She was sure that they would get on famously.
"Well, thank you anyway, for your time. That's all I need. Unless, of course, you remember anything more substantial about your whereabouts on Friday."
