She tried to pull away when he pulled at her arm, a little panicked and she knew it showed but she stayed quiet and listened to him talk, deciding she'd scream if he did anything.
"Miles," Scarlett repeated, mostly for her own benefit. It sucked that she likely wouldn't remember that come morning although if she was lucky, she'd know something else.
"You have a Manor?" she asked, a bit surprised. She wasn't really sure where she lived; she planned on walking around until she found somewhere that looked familiar. Of course, she wasn't that sure she was even from this village but it was a beginning.
"Who- I'm sorry, I don't know who you're talking about," she said, hating to tell him the truth but she knew she had to before he thought she was crazy. "I had a bit of an accident," She said, taking out the doctor's parchment with the diagnosis on it. "Here. I probably can't remember all of it to tell you."
