Daphne giggled. "He's building a house, but he's hiding it from you?" she asked. "That seems a bit counterproductive. Perhaps the location itself is a surprise too?" She didn't see how that would matter so much, but to each their own.
Daphne chuckled at her next comment. "If you saw the place I'm staying in now, you wouldn't be saying that," she said facetiously. "Liam got my only guestroom when he stayed the night recently. Besides, a bigger house just means more cleaning, right? Especially with children." She was really just playing off the fact that she would love a large Manor, but it really just wasn't in the cards for now.
