Ben was sound asleep with Dobby watching over him by the time Terry was ready to leave, so it was with very little guilt that Terry made his way to the village. He didn't think he'd be going if he didn't know that Seamus was there. He wanted to see the other wizard, so he wasn't going to let work interfere with their date.
Not that it was an official date, he reminded himself again. Seamus would be working, at least for a few hours, and he hadn't replied to confirm when Terry had owled to say it's a date. So it couldn't officially be called a date. But, that's sort of what Terry thought it was. They had an arrangement for a social engagement in a public place. Those were all features of a date.
He shook himself from his thoughts as he reached the Three Broomsticks, and let himself in out of the cold. He spotted Seamus immediately at the bar, it was as if his gaze had been pulled there automatically. He paused for a few moments, playing at taking off his jacket but really just looking at Seamus and refrained from throwing himself at the other wizard. Neither of them were ready for that, he reminded himself. Plus, the fact that Seamus was behind the bar would mean a hundred broken glasses if Terry acted on impulse.
He took a deep breath and made his way to the bar, settling in at Seamus end and waiting for his boyf--his friend, he corrected mentally--to notice him.
