Stephen didn't know what he'd done to be this lucky, to have someone who trusted in him implicitly. "I love you," he said, grinning, "and you'd never be like them. Hell, they won't even be like that when they return to their Masters. You need to strip someone completely of everything they are to train them properly. Their Masters get a blank slate to build on."
He nodded, understanding where Adrian was coming from. "It's not a competition. this lifestyle means different things for different people. There is no right way. If there were a competition, you'd win all the times with me."
Stephen kissed adrian again. "Good, I count on it." He really didn't. He knew Adrian's competitive side and pride too well, but it was good to hear from Adrian that he'd want to put a stop. "Besides, I figured that if I don't push, we'll still get there, only at a slower pace."
