"Of course you'll make sure of it," he agreed, nipping Stephen's lip. "You always do. As for Midori, I'm sure she's great at what she does but I wouldn't ever want to be like one of her slaves. It doesn't seem right."
Adrian paused for thought, wondering why Stephen always asked him questions that he wasn't sure about. "Better and worse. Better because they're not wizards and I don't think I could do this in front of them, worse because it makes me competitive. You know my thoughts on Muggles, anything they can do well, I should be able to do better."
He kissed Stephen and pressed closer. "I know we have a lot to lose if you push, maybe too much to lose, but I trust you to know when enough is enough. I'll always opt out before I need to, I'm too Slytherin like that, don't want to show any weaknesses."
