"What's the point in discussing it when you're only going to go ahead and do it anyway?" Adrian asked. "The Order will back you up, the Aurors too. I'm about the only person who'll be dead set against you doing this and I'm telling you now that my stance on the matter isn't going to change no matter how much we do or don't know. So fine, let's stop it for the moment."
He listened to Stephen, determined not to get into a bad mood over a scheme that could or couldn't happen. He knew there was nothing set in stone but it didn't mean he liked it. "No, I wouldn't. I couldn't do this all the time, I know I couldn't," he reassured Stephen. "And if you're scared of that then don't be. I'm not going to change outside this."
Adrian lay down on his back, watching Stephen. "I don't know if I want to go. Mainly because she's not going to appreciate it if I don't behave how I'm supposed to and I don't know how to do that," he answered.
"Not upset, just thinking. Rosmerta's murder has the entire Auror department in a flurry. I can't help thinking of all the murders I've committed and whether they had nearest or dearest or Aurors looking after them."
