"They definitely got into more trouble than the Hufflepuffs," Ernie said with a laugh. "I think the only ones that came close were the Slytherins."
"Yes, indeed," he said eagerly. "I actually sent an owl to David about that and he says that Ian and Peter would love to put their skills to work. They love the idea." He chuckled. "I got the feeling their going to run with it a bit so we might see a bit more than ice dragons on that day."
He rolled his eyes. "I'd forgotten about the benefit." he hesitated then licked his lips and almost blurted out, "I'd... Would you... accompany me to the benefit?"
He winced a little at how formal that had come out and hoped Terry would take the intent and not the delivery.
He took a deep breath and pulled himself together a bit. "Ben would love the Tattoo. They do a lot of formation marching and they have groups come from all over the world. Some of them have the most amazing and funny routines. And I'm sure he'd love the sound of the massed pipes and drums. There's hundreds of them out on the Esplanade at one time. You kind of understand what they mean by the 'skirling of the pipes' after seeing that."
