Terry smiled gently, letting his hand drift down to the center of Ernie's chest when Ernie let him go. "I don't care about that," he said, stroking the material of Ernie's shirt lightly, watching for any sign of comfortableness. "Well, not beyond the fact that you care. A scar would never change the way I am starting to feel--am feeling--about you."
He could hear the bitterness in Ernie's voice, and wished he could do more to make it go away. To heal Ernie's hurts and make everything better. "No, never morose," he said softly. "This is good to talk about though, so I can tell you how incredibly sexy I find you, without being out of turn." He let his hands drift down to curl around Ernie's hands, and smiled as brightly as he could. "I do you know. I find you amazingly, wonderfully sexy, and I want to go to bed with you some time soon. When you're ready, and when I'm ready, and the time is right."
