Daphne raised a brow, interested. "Oh, really?" So that's what he was doing? She really shouldn't be surprised, since he'd already mentioned that Lettie Capper was living with him until she'd gotten better, but she wondered what could have happened that was so important that he had to get her to babysit at the last minute. "Is she still forgetting things?" She wondered how much the boy would know about the actual situation, but she figured asking couldn't hurt.
Nigel giggled at the sound of his name and did his best to wave back, which was basically slapping his hands on his high chair table in excitement.
Daphne put Liam down into a chair at the table. "Toast and eggs it is. How do you like them? Scrambled?"
She snapped her fingers and summoned her house elf, giving him orders to make breakfast. She certainly wasn't about to cook for herself while it was around.
