Seamus clung to Susan when she hugged him, burying his face in her shoulder as he continued to cry. It was just too much. Too much death. Stupid, senseless death.
It took him a while to calm down, but finally his eyes were no longer brimming with tears, and his breathing was back to normal.
He pulled away from Susan sheepishly, wiping at his face and sniffing a bit as he looked down at her shoe. "Sorry," he said softly, standing up and walking over to the door to post the sign.
He then pointed his wand to each of the windows, drawing the curtains so that no one could look in and see the old fire damage.
"Entwhistle. Kevin's last name," he told her, his voice raspy from crying.
