Susan noted the time, and realised that they were above the pub. Looking at the time, she knew they had to keep the scene as clear as possible.
"I'm afraid the bar is going to have to be closed today. Well, indefinitely. Do you think you can take care of that when we're done here?" It would give him something to do, and with Aurors traipsing in and out, it made sense.
Her ears prickled when he said that the note wasn't her handwriting. Susan paid even more interest to it now. "Do you have something of her own writing we can see?"
If the note wasn't hers, then this became an even more interesting crime scene. At the mention of the cuts, she forced herself to look back over at the body, noticing the sharp cut down her neck.
There was blood in the water, and something just didn't sit right. She was going to have to call Cho in, and no doubt half the squad as well.
"Okay," she said as she let her thoughts wander in other directions. "Is there anyone you know who might have had a motive to do this to cover up a crime?"
