Rosie smiled at him. 'Well he's helping Cormac and Seamus raise that little girl, isn't he? What's her name?... Emma.' She remembered Seamus telling her about Emma and she was actually looking forward to meeting the child. 'And that is almost like having a child.' She smiled. 'Besides, you were always so fond of Liam - he'll have children and grand children one day,' she said softly, though she tried to push away her fight with Miles when she said so. The mere thought that he might prevent her from seeing Liam for just wanting to know and help people like Dennis...it was absurd.
'You need help, Dennis. You weren't turned in a responsible way, naturally you don't know how to fully control yourself.' She stroked his hair again, wishing she could help - though there were things she would not do for anyone, well unless they were in mortal danger. He could not practice on her. 'I wish Sanguini was still around,' she said softly. 'He could have taught you so much. But perhaps if I introduce you to Jander?' she suggested. 'I haven't known him as long as I've known Sanguini, but he's a lovely man, I'm sure he'd love to help you come to terms with what you are and how to live with it.'
She moved her hand to lift his chin so that he looked straight at her. 'I have not shunned you Dennis. And I'm sure not everyone has. They'll come around, they'll see that this is not your doing. They'll learn about what you are and they'll accept you.' She smiled. 'Until they do I'm your friend. I'll help you.'
