"Of course you did. Although it could have been a fashion statement at the time, I don't profess to know such things."
Miles attempted to duck and weave as paint was flicked at him, and he heard Liam chuckle as some managed to get on him. Thank Merlin it wasn't the sort of paint that would ruin anything.
He completely ignored the ghost, preferring to look at what Lettie had drawn. There was a wide smirk on his lips and he gave Lettie a wink. "I think your memory is quite perfect on that score."
"And yes, you did. You made lots of jewellery designs that I know of. They are really very good."
Looking over at Romilda, he gave her the 'Why are you still here' look, knowing full well that he was perfectly capable of looking after his son. "I did want to fly today myself, don't worry, he'll get his treat."
Just at that moment, Liam piped up and asked about visiting Rosmerta. Miles glared at Romilda, who gave her own triumphant smirk. Honestly, there were some days when he wondered if Liam was more mature than his mother.
"How about Friday?" He replied to his son as he smirked at Lettie as a plan was already forming in his mind.
"How would you feel about going out for dinner on Friday night? Get away from the manor? Show off some pretty robes?" He hoped she would say yes. "How does Paris sound?"
