"Rosmerta is like a grandmother to him," she said to Lettie. "Miles needs to take him to visit her soon - I bet she's missed him." Putting ideas in Liam's head was the only way she could get Miles to do things sometimes, and they were well overdue for a visit.
She managed to ignore Lettie now, focussing on Liam and his drawing, frowning as Lettie flicked paint at him. "I suppose you can draw him doing that - wishful thinking and all."
Although she wasn't impressed when Liam was sucking up to Lettie. Merlin, he really did have some of his father's traits. She harrumphed quietly.
"You must be cramping his style," she said casually. "I mean, if he wants to keep having this 'Daffy' around. Miles never was one to deal with too many women at once." Romilda just didn't know when to keep her mouth shut, but she wasn't about to let this woman get one over on her son, and she intended to stay until Liam was nowhere near her.
