He patted her arm, giving an innocent smile. Even the sound of her heartbeat was hard to stomach at such close range, even as he tried not to stare at the pulse throbbing at her neck.
"That could be a very... interesting evening," he said with a smirk, knowing that it would be far too much fun indeed to see the look on Colin's face if he showed up on Gabrielle's arm.
When they stopped, he did all he could not to bare his fangs. "I really don't want my brother to know I'm here. He would... likely want to stir up trouble. And that's the last thing I want to do." He batted his eyes innocently at her. "I trust you not to say anything... but..."
He decided that now might be a good time to perhaps see if his 'story' could hold water with people he had known before death. "Oh Gabrielle," he said, suddenly looking worried and a little frightened. "I've had a terrible time," he admitted to her.
"I... I don't want you to hate me or anything. My brother already thinks I'm a freak." Now it was time to play with her emotions a little. "I'm really scared..." He was biting his lip, looking utterly terrified. "I don't want to hurt you. I don't want to hurt anyone."
