Katie had laughed and squirmed in Fred's arms when he carried her over yet another threshold since their marriage, but despite all her protests she really did love that Fred wanted to do all those little cliche things that married couples did. She had even made sure to extend her leave from work for a few more weeks than they had originally planned so they could make sure to do all those things on their honeymoon and then some.
She grinned when she saw George almost as soon as they had come into the house. "George!" She wrapped her arms around him in a big hug.
She followed the boys into the kitchen, and mouthed that she'd like tea to Fred while he talked to George. She pulled up a chair resting her elbows on the kitchen counter and leaning her chin into her hands.
